By becoming a part of BTA, we will entrust you with:
Supporting the development and maintenance of pricing and predictive models for insurance products such as MTPL, CASCO, property insurance, etc.
Preparing, cleaning, validating, and analyzing data used for statistical and machine learning models
Supporting more experienced Data Scientists in model development, testing, and performance monitoring
Participating in A/B test analysis and helping prepare recommendations based on the results
Preparing analysis results, visualizations, and summaries for different business teams
Monitoring model results and identifying potential areas for improvement
Exploring new analytical methods, tools, and technologies together with the Baltic Business Analytics team
Gradually developing knowledge and expertise in insurance pricing, risk modeling, and data science
Job requirements
It is important for us to create and maintain trust-based relationships with our clients, partners, and colleagues. We believe that you will be successful in this role if:
Bachelor’s degree or final-year studies in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Actuarial Science, Computer Science, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field
Basic knowledge of Python and SQL
Understanding of statistics, data analysis, and machine learning fundamentals
Experience working with data through university projects, internships, personal projects, or previous work experience
Basic understanding of data cleaning, data preparation, feature engineering, and predictive modeling
Interest in developing knowledge in insurance pricing, risk assessment, and predictive analytics
Native Lithuanian language
Good English communication skills for collaboration across the Baltics
Analytical mindset, curiosity, and willingness to learn and explore new approaches
Ability to explain findings and analytical results in a clear and understandable way

Work in a great Baltic Business Analytics team at the BTA office - Laisvės pr.10 (Business Garden), Vilnius, Lithuania
On-site work on weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to adjust working hours within a one-hour range
After the probation period, the possibility to work remotely 2 days per week
Gross salary from EUR 2376-3214, depending on the candidate’s experience and suitability for the role
