IT Systems Support Specialist

We are looking for an IT Systems Support Specialist to join our team at BTA. As a member of our team, you will work on a Baltic level, contributing to the maintenance and improvement of our information systems.

We will entrust you:

• Register, classify, and resolve IS incidents and problems, entering them into request-management systems within established deadlines;

• Register and process IS requests (IS access rights management, user support, installation and acceptance testing of new IS versions, etc.) using request-management systems;

• Prepare various reports and perform data extraction from IS upon request from other departments;

• Test new software functionality, perform regression tests, and ensure the installation of new software versions;

• Develop and improve user instructions for IS.

You will be an excellent fit for our team if you:

• Are recent gradate or have a degree in Information Technology;

• Have proficiency in English (You will be working with colleagues in Estonia and Latvia in both written and spoken communication) and Lithuanian languages;

• Possess strong logical and analytical thinking skills;

• Can work both independently and as part of a team;

• Are motivated to learn and grow in the IT field;

• Have high accuracy, sense of responsibility, and strong communication skills;

• Experience working with at least one DBMS: Microsoft SQL, MySQL, or Oracle;

• Knowledge of ITIL methodology;

• Knowledge of IS testing methodologies;

• Understanding of information system interoperability.

Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge in information system (IS) maintenance, functionality and configuration management, user access rights administration, user support, and ensuring the continuity of IS operations.
